The classroom book is very helpful and has gotten me started in my Adobe Illustrator work. The copy that I purchased however, looks like it came from a rather rough school! The book seller's description did not indicate that the this copy had an abusive prior owner.

Excellent book!
I really like the Classroom in a book serie and use it to teach almost all of the Adobe softwares I teach.
It could have been a little bit deeper, but it's really good for level 1 and 2 users.
I've read it in French, but it's the same thing as in English.
The only little problem with those kind of books is that it teaches you how to do something, which is good, but when, for example, you have many options, it'll tell which one to choose, without telling you what the others are for...
