I had no problems with the book shipping and arriving on time. The text itself, though, could be better. There are a few examples in the book that are worked out incorrectly (usually a typo that's carried through subsequent calculations), and there's a fair amount of homework problems that have incorrect answers. I think it's very good for a general understanding of topics, though. Working through the examples yourself is good if you're not understanding something.

Full of errors
Having used other books by this author before, I knew the book would read more like a reference manual than an actual text that explains anything in a meaningful way. I expected his homework problems to at least be correctly solved in the back- however, after 7 weeks and 5 chapters, our class and teacher have found multiple errors every week in the 5-8 problems we do. Awful book.
