Seller's Description:
Book is in very good condition and may include minimal underlining highlighting. The book can also include From the library of labels. May not contain miscellaneous items toys dvds etc. We offer 100% money back guarantee and 24 7 customer service.
The changes in this new edition completely spoil the book. It presents the Network layer based on the proposed management practices of Software Defined Networking (SDN). Since SDN is a new concept that was envisioned for mega data-centers only, it seems to me that the authors are trying to shamelessly peddle this new proposal of their colleagues, and influence the markets by shoving it down the throats of the students at large. This kind of marketing would lead to a skewed version of networking concepts being taught in schools.

Negative: Book Labs Cost Extra
this book has some great points and some poor. my largest fault with it is, what i consider, insufficient L1 info.
when i finished reading it, i looked forward to using the online labs but the 'best' ones would not open. I've just been informed by 'Pearson-Ed' i would have to pay ANOTHER fee to access labs at the 'student resource site'. the book makes no mention of this ability to access some info and not others. pretty lame, i feel, for something I've already paid for, at an excessive price to begin with.
