I only recommend this book to people who don't mind linguistic terminology, it doesn't seem to be aimed at self-learners. For "regular" learners like myself this technical terminology becomes a hindrance rather than an aide to learning, and I would recommend Carol Round's book 'Hungarian: an essential grammar' instead. To get back to Torkenczy's book, it has a good number of examples and is easy to use as reference, so perhaps for more experienced Hungarian language self-learners it could still be useful. For beginner's however, Carol Round's book is still much better.
