This book is old but nothing compared with how old is Astronomy. Escobal has formulated all the methods normally used in practice until that time, that are the methods used today. It is a great acquisition for the price you can find for a used book.
Most of the books you'll find around that talks about Astrodynamics will reference this book, so I really recommend buying this book and keep it in a bookshelf near you.
