I had to study 8080 in my university, but my lecture text was weak. With that book I started to understand. I took time, but I read through that book. After compleating, it was very easy to move furter to microcontroller 8051. That edition is maybe a litle aged, but it wasn't wasted time. I have read some others books too (intel 8080-8051) , but that one have the better basics skills.
