Signed by Jim Garrison on map front free endpaper in green ink (situating his signature inside the County Records Building), inscribed to former owner and dated December 1988. xvi, 342 pp. Bound in publisher's salmon paper-covered boards over black spine cloth lettered in gilt. Very Good with slight slant to spine, light wear to covers, and foxing to textblock edges. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light rubbing and edgewear, moderate toning visible in lighter areas, and fading to spine panel. The former New Orleans District Attorney's final work, a memoir of his controversial investigation into the murder of President Kennedy and eventual prosecution of Clay Shaw. It was made into the popular Oliver Stone film JFK not too long before he died. Rarely found signed due to Garrison's poor health in his final years.
