I realize that many undiagnosed cases of ADHD end up self-medicating but not everyone does. This book was recommended to a very bright friend with ADHD and she did not relate to it as well as she might have had there been more cases of conservative-leaning adults with ADHD. It did however do a good job of showing the untapped potential in adults and teens who have this disorder and an even better job at giving a sense of how this disorder affects self-concept in very bright people.
