The Greatest Manifestation Principle in the World by Carnelian Sage is one of the latest in a long list of "secret" books professing to bring you riches and fame; sort of. It was written with a more forthright approach but nonetheless it still attempts to supersede all others who have gone before.
That in itself does not make it a bad choice for readers of this material. I read all of this stuff. I teach this stuff. So whether it be Norvell, Holmes, Fillmore, Cady, Murphy, Erhard, Troward, Trine, Neville, Perceival, Peale and of course of late, Rhonda Byrne of "The Secret" fame. And essentially they all give the reader a glimpse into the world of "The Law of Attraction." My own Teacher, Thane Walker presented many types of classes leaning in this direction: Translation, The Law of Assumption and The Law of the Vacuum, so I am particularly well acquainted with this instruction.
The ?Greatest Principle? however does one really important thing. It helps the reader to understand that you do have the power to achieve things you desire from the ?mind? point of view. What it does not do is invade your personal space with any counseling that might help you deal with your own psychological issues that create blocks that prevent your dreams from coming true. That would take way too many pages. Which is why I give a weekend class instead but also advise the student that there is no immediate guarantee of success on the level they desire.
You see, you already get what you want. That in itself is provided in our physical science as well as our metaphysical science. Unfortunately too many ?New Age? followers tend to say that the era of ?cause and effect? is over. That is too logical and left brained to be effective in our era of ?Higher Thinking.? However the law of ?cause and effect? is no different that the law of ?out and back? and ?for every action there is an equal opposite reaction.? Or, ?as above, so below.?
This book does do a little leg work that the others don?t in helping you to understand that your worse enemy is you. It attempts to get the reader to understand that they must get their previous belief system out of the way in order that this expanded sense of self within their Consciousness will indeed bring them all that they need. Most of us are taught from birth that not only can we not get everything we want, but that it is morally wrong or offensive in some way that we desire too much. There is some truth to that when it comes to ego-based desires that are rooted in a lack of self-esteem. But that in itself will nullify your attempts at achieving anything from the ?get go.?
Also, one book that works for one person might not work for another. This path is a grand search and this might be the book that clicks with you and you begin to understand this principle in the way it is presented here. But remember, it spends way too much time introducing you to the idea and very little time to the simple principle itself as it is mentally applied mathematically. 2 + 2 = 4.
