The pages are not packed with prescriptive boxes (you'd feel obliged to fill in) leaving you nowhere to jot down the address of that restaurant you wanted to try or the directions to the vineyard you're visiting. Instead, we've incorporated wine checklists into the cover design for you to use as prompts if you wish . So, you need never forget anything, but equally you can choose to reject it if you're not interested. On the back cover, the words in green form a list of commonly recorded information about wine. On the front cover, the green words are a robust, but by no means exhaustive, list of wine taste descriptions. We've also provided star rating and shade recording systems on each page and a blank index at the back so that you can easily find content as your notebook fills up. Whether you're a serious wine connoisseur, who wants to fill every page with detailed records, or a dabbler who just wants the facility to record a good wine when you come across one (and have space for a few shopping lists) this notebook gives you the flexibility to do so ... it can be whatever you want it to be.
