In diesem Buch wird die Programmierung von Applikationen mit Hilfe des Motif-Toolkits beschrieben. Das Motif-Toolkit stellt Grundbausteine f}r grafische Benutzungsoberfl{chen zur Verf}gung, die sogenannten Widgets. Es baut dabei auf dem X-Window-System und den X-Toolkit-Intrinsics des MIT auf. Das Toolkit deckt aber nicht alle Aspekte einer Applikation ab.
