Ching-Yuan Tsai
Dr. Ching-Yuan Tsai was born in Potze of Chiayi County, Taiwan in 1951. He is one of the 3 children in the family. He went to the local elementary school in Potze, and junior and senior high schools in the city of Chiayi, and then studied at Kaohsiung Teacher's College for his BA degree. He obtained his MA degree from Normal University in Taipei, Taiwan and doctorate in linguistics from University of Hawaii. Dr. Ching-Yuan Tsai was born in Potze of Chiayi County, Taiwan in 1951. He is one of the 3 children in the family. He went to the local elementary school in Potze, and junior and senior high schools in the city of Chiayi, and then studied at Kaohsiung Teacher's College for his BA degree. He obtained his MA degree from Normal University in Taipei, Taiwan and doctorate in linguistics from University of Hawaii. His research and teaching interests have been lexicography, semantics, and vocabulary teaching. He has published articles in the following journals: Journal of Chinese Linguistics, JCLTA, Journal of Lexicography, and some local journals in Taiwan. This is his second book, the first one being GRE (Vocabulary Preparation for GRE) published under the pen name of Tian-Chien Tsai in 2006. See less
