Dr. Muhammad Hanif (Fellow CMA) is Associate Professor at FAST School of Management, National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences, Islamabad. He is a graduate of University of The Punjab (B.COM, M.COM -Gold Medalist) and International Islamic University, Islamabad (MS Finance -Gold Medalist & PhD-Finance). As a part of research activities, he spent summer 2012, in Kent Business School, the University of Kent at Canterbury, England, where he delivered an introductory seminar on Islamic Banking. He became Associate Member of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan in 2001 and Fellow Member in 2007. He achieved the presidential award for securing an overall first position in AJK PSC in 1998. He was awarded Best University Teacher Award (BUTA) by Higher Education Commission (HEC)-Pakistan. He has 18 years of professional/managerial and teaching experience at SCCBA (Sialkot), RIU, BU, ICMA-Pakistan and FSM (Islamabad). He has vast experience in financial and tax consultancy. His research areas include Valuation of Assets, Earnings Management, capital structure, market efficiency and Islamic financing. His research has been published in national and international journals of repute. He has published 13 journal articles and presented six papers at international conferences.
