Karen Moxom is the Managing Director of the Association for NLP, an independent award winning social enterprise specialising in membership services for NLP Professionals. She is motivated to do the best she can to help NLP become more credible, so it will be embraced by the education system and will positively influence more young people, like her own two sons, to achieve their full potential. As well as running ANLP, Karen is the editor of Rapport, the magazine for NLP Professionals, and the publisher of Acuity and the NLP Research Journal, Current Research in NLP. Before taking over the reins at ANLP, Karen was a management accountant and trainer, and ran her own company which focussed on facilitating small businesses to manage their finances more effectively. Until recently she was Chair of Governors at her son's school, she is a Scout helper and she is part of the Developing Special Provision Locally Parent Reference group for Hertfordshire County Council. She was awarded Hertfordshire Woman of the Year in the 2009 Hertfordshire Business Awards. She is a single mum, and lives in Hertfordshire with her sons and their two cats.
