Marlow Anderson
Marlow Anderson is a professor of mathematics at The Colorado College, in Colorado Springs. He was born in Seattle, and received his undergraduate degree from Whitman College. He studied algebra at the University of Kansas and received his Ph. D. In 1978. He studied algebra at the University of Kansas and received his Ph. D. In 1978. He has co-authored a technical monograph and a textbook in mathematics, and has co-edited two books on the history of mathematics. He has been scuba diving since 1996, and since that time has logged over 1100 dives in locations all over the world. He became a PADI assistant instructor in diving in 1998, and has since that time has been able to share his passion for both mathematics and scuba diving with many students. He lives with his wife Audrey and four cats in a nineteenth century house in Manitou Springs, Colorado. See less
