He is a Chief Scientist at the Department of Food Engineering, Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, India and Professor, Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research (AcSIR), Ghaziabad, India. His major work includes application of Chemical Engineering principles for process and product development in the area of Food Science and Technology. These efforts have generated 17 patents besides more than 180 original publications in reputed international journals, besides being the author of several books.
