Orlin Sabev
Orlin Sabev (Orhan Salih by birth), born in Shumen (Bulgaria) in 1970, is Associate Professor atthe Institute of Balkan Studies with Centre for Thracology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences(Sofi a). He obtained a Ph. D. in history at the same institute in 2000. The latt er came out also in Turkish translationin 2006 under the title " brahim Müteferrika ya da lk Osmanl Matbaa Serüveni (1726-1746). YenidenDe erlendirme". Since then the Turkish translation has three editions. He has more than hundredarticles dealing with various topics in the fi eld of education, book history, print culture, andsexuality in Ott oman society. See less
