Richard Powell, author of "Stane Street: From Chichester to London", is an expat Canadian freelance writer/photographer. His articles and stories have appeared in local and international magazines as well as blogs and youtube videos, showing the routes from his books. He writes both fiction and non-fiction. Richard started researching the history of Stane Street when living near the route in South East England. It combined his passions for photography, writing, research and the past. His passion for researching the stories behind the towns that line his favourite travel routes has resulted in this book "Sussex Coast Road". Drawing on his early life as an IT Analyst, Entrepreneur, Curios Shop Owner and Publican, Richard is now applying his enthusiasm to the island of Cyprus where he lives with his wife in a traditional village stone house, uncovering more stories of long-forgotten places and events.
