Richard Roud
RICHARD ROUD (1929-89) was an American writer on film and co-founder and latterly Director of the New York Film Festival. In the 1950s, Roud was the London Correspondent of Cahiers du cin�ma, and from 1963 to 1969, Chief Film Critic for the Guardian newspaper.
