Ryan Basen

Ryan Basen was an award-winning reporter with the Charlotte Observer who has written features for the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Baltimore Sun. He is the author of several non-fiction books aimed at preteens and has coached youth and high school baseball. Basen attended college at Washington University (St. Louis) and earned a master's degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. He lives in Washington, DC.
