Dr. Shahid Mohammad Ganie is working as an Assistant Professor at the AI Research Centre in the School of Business at Woxsen University and holds the Chair Professor--Manjeet Rege Professor of Data Science and AI. He obtained his Ph.D (Machine Learning in Healthcare Informatics) and a master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA), where he was a Gold Medalist, from the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, BGSB University, Jammu and Kashmir-UT, India. He also holds a B.Sc in Mathematics from the University of Kashmir. He has been a passionate teacher with more than 2 years of teaching experience and research experience. His research interests include Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Medical Image Computing, Healthcare Informatics, and Smart Healthcare Systems. He is also interested in expanding his research into related areas such as Big Data Analytics, IoT in Healthcare, and Metaverse in Healthcare. He has published more than 20 research articles in refereed journals, edited books, and reputed international conferences. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for international/national reputed journals such as the Journal of Big Data, Healthcare Analytics, Computers, Materials & Continua.
