T. Deepa earned her B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. She further pursued her education and obtained the M.Tech. degree in power systems and a Ph.D. degree in process control from the College of Engineering, Anna University, Guindy.
