In a period of his life where he was concentrating solely on building a future both professionally and privately, he was brutally confronted with a sudden destruction instead. He learned to use this experience as leverage to achieve what he feels is important in life and in the years following the death of his wife he therefore decided to dedicate his life helping others to create a compelling future. He wrote The Widowers' Manual and he founded his own coaching academy where he teaches individuals how to develop themselves fully in order to achieve the highest goal in life: freedom. Wouter has held several management positions with large multinational companies prior to his decision to share his knowledge, experience and vision with the world. He has lived in different European countries, which has offered him a broad experience of several distinctive cultural heritages. This has highly enlarged his scope and expertise in the field of how to deal with people with different backgrounds, references, lifestyles and views of the world.
