I bought this book because it was recommended to me as being the definitive work in English on Turkish grammar. Although it seems expensive ($50+ new for a 300-page paperback), I have been pleased with the thoroughness of the treatment. I use other books to learn from, but often refer to this one for specific explanations. I did think it rather odd that the sound of the Turkish R was explained by referring to a sound in Welsh! Maybe a knowledge of Welsh should be stated as a prerequisite. Buying this used copy saved me a few dollars and it arrived in excellent condition.
