The quotes are arranged alphabetically. The quality of the quotes selected overall is lackluster. Also the number included diminishes as the author goes through the alphabet as if he were tiring of the process. On the other hand The Traveling Curmudgeon by the same author is full of neat quotes and one of my favorite books.

Curmudgeon's Bible
This, with Jon Winokur's sequels, make up, what I refer to as, The Curmudgeon's Bible! They are chock full of heartening quips and passages that make you proud to be a curmudgeon. I'm never at a loss for something to pick me up with this set close at hand.
