Grace and Melody are dreamweavers, able to inhabit each other's consciousness and foretell that which is yet to manifest. They live in a small intentional community at The Wellspring, a beautiful and ancient refuge which has always been a staging-post between times, calling souls home to fulfil their purpose. One such refugee is Joseph, who embarks upon an unexpected journey which leads him inexorably towards The Wellspring where Mel and Grace recognise him as a fellow dreamweaver and initiate him into the art of seeing that which has been and that which is yet to come. Driven by fear, greed and violence, a cloak of darkness descends on humanity and begins to permeate The Wellspring. Meanwhile with the help of the great goddesses Gaia and Hecate, the dreamweavers are shown the true magnificence and mystery of creation, coupled with the dire warning that humankind will not be allowed to diminish all other beings at the behest of fear. The Wellspring community are tasked with countering aeons of all-consuming patriarchy before the fires of fear scorch the Earth and render it uninhabitable, but the tools they are given to do so seem too simple and the mission too great. Fortunately, they are not alone.
