The Germanic Catechism is composed as a basic introduction addressing questions regarding identity and purpose for Germanic and Western peoples in America. It is written primarily for the young and the elderly, presented in seventeen concise chapters. The Catheism is intentionally brief and accessible, inspired by Heinrich von Kleist's Katechismus der Deutschen. Included alongside the main text are some of Kleist's lesser-known, previously untranslated relevant essays and reflections. It also includes a full translation and modern adaptation of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz's Ermahnung an die Teutsche, as well as a partial translation of Johann Gottlieb Fichte's Reden an die deutsche Nation. These texts have been updated where appropriate to speak meaningfully to our generation-and to those yet to come.
