From that point, each chapter presents a business math topic that utilizes the student's knowledge of these basic operations and equations. In keeping with the philosophy of "practice makes perfect," the text contains over 2,000 realistic business math exercises--many with multiple steps and answers designed to prepare students to use math to make business decisions and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Many of the exercises in each chapter are written in a "you are the manager" format, to enhance student involvement.
