This book is good overall. However, there a several topics addressed by Dr Torrey, I thoroughly disagree with. Having gone through several Pentecostal Bible colleges and and seminaries Brother Torrey says some things, I know through experience, not to be true. I do not feel this is the best book on the subject of receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. In my library there are better written and more well thought out, as well as more in depth. I would not recommend this book as it is one man's experience, and not the sum total of the Pentecostal experience.. I do not feel this is the most accurate portrayals of this subject.
