The book was written in English, classical style embedded from college studies, and with many applications from learning Modern Greek. KYKLOS actually contains poems that were written in the country of Greece. After the trip, much of the conversational style of the book was retained and the second half of the book reaps the reward of fond memories of the travel. Today, as an American, my Modern Greek has been kept in writing and reading as will show as my third book comes to form, while the this next book may lose some of the conversational flair of KYKLOS. |
